2M/70cm Monday Net Hosts Needed

For 2025 we are incentivizing folks to host the 2M/70cm Monday night net as follows:

  1. Each time you host the 2M/70cm Monday Night Net, you will receive 3 free raffle tickets (maximum of 6 tickets per calendar month) towards the raffle drawing at a future 2025 monthly club meeting.
    • You may save up your tickets to use at any monthly club meeting in 2025
  2. You must be present at the club meeting to enter your tickets into the raffle.
  3. Club officers (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board of Directors) are not eligible to participate.

What other benefits do you gain by hosting the 2M/70cm net?

  1. Refine your listening skills – Hearing call signs come at you, with varied audio quality and speed, will help train your ear
  2. Practice logging – you can log callsign to paper, or any other logging program. Great way to get ready for Field Day!
  3. Practice your ‘over the air’ voice – Overcome your ‘mic fright’ by talking with folks that you know!
  4. Help your club! – Volunteering to host a net is an easy way to give your time to the club.
