2026 Field Day at Oxnard College “Duck Pond” Area

“CQ Field Day, CQ Field Day; this is Kilo Six Mike Echo Papa, Seventeen Alpha,  Sierra Bravo Section”  was the radio communication made by our club operators from 11 AM Saturday June 27th to 11 AM Sunday June 28th at the Oxnard College Parking Lot “A” near the Duck Pond.

Thanks to all who assisted with Friday June 26th’s set-up (20 people),  operated Saturday and/or Sunday, visited and had a great time whether making Field Day contacts or eating the wonderful food purchased, donated, and “pot lucked”; which was prepared and/or cooked by Mark Ortega, Dave Schmidt and/or Burt Auerbach (and some others).

Now that everyone has (hopefully) made it back home and unloaded the Field Day equipment from their vehicles (and trailers), it’s time to relax. If you used paper logs and didn’t give them to one of the operators to be loaded into N3FJP, please send me (VP) the following:

  • Date & Time (UTC recommended) contact was made
  • Band (e.g., 20m, 2m)
  • Mode (CW, Phone, Digital)
  • Call Sign of station worked
  • Their Class
  • Their Section
  • Signal report (optional but helpful)
  • Example exchange:
    You send: K6MEP 17A SB
    They send: W1AW 1A CT

Please make surre that you provide a clearly written email containing the contact’s information as above.

We will be gathering your information and adding them to the N3FJP logging program so the we can extract them and send them electronically to the ARRL, as well as the other accomplishments that the members completed as listed in the ARRL FD 2026 packet.
